I know there's a discussion that happens regarding the amount of attention given to the celebrations of Jesus' life and death. I hear a lot of evangelical Christians say that Easter is most important, as Jesus came to die for our sins. On the other hand, many other streams of Christianity place heavier focus on Christmas because it represents something that is, in a way, even more inclusive of a message. The message that God would come and make an intimate connection with his creation is captivating. Most other religions leave their gods at a distance from earth, separating man from deity, where Christianity turns the whole paradigm around and make a personal, intimate connection between creator and creation.
Love the revolutionary love message you guys are sharing. Can't wait to hear how things went with the ambulance!
Totally agree Laurie . . . this series is going to end up touching on "simplicity" issues in peoples lives. We can only be generous with others when we make new priorities with how we spend our money.
