Carey, I was impressed at how Global TV presented a straight forward, non-judgemental approach to the Evangelical movement in Canada.
I was most impressed that of all the Evangelical churches in Canada, Connexus was given significant air time, in a positive manner. Also interesting that it tracked you guys from pretty much day one.

Having grown up in a traditional church, I was like many who left because it was not speaking in any way I could relate to. As Jesus spoke to the crowds, many were healed and became followers. Having attended Trinity and Connexus, I too encountered healing I didn't know I needed. God's Word has become "honey to my lips". My appetite for God's Word continues to grow. I had no idea that Jesus actually died for ME too. The hopeful and gentle approach in Carey's delivery of God's Word has spoken to many of us who live harried, isolated and distracted lives.
Psalm 8:4 what are mortals that you should think of us?
mere humans that you should care for us?
The Evangelical movement is reviving and refreshingly alive. Thanks, Carey for being part of it.

Watched the show and found it very interesting!I have been very curious about Connexus.I have been a christian my whole life but have not been attending a church for the last 10 years since I've been living in Barrie.Trying to find a church to bring my family who are unsure about God!I think I may have found it now!Looking forward to checking Connexus out very soon!

Thanks so much for the encouragement guys. I am still a bit in awe of the fact that a major tv network invested tons of resources to tell a good news story (for the most part). Scandal sells. And to invest in hope was something that I give them full credit for.

Carey, as pastor who has seen too many of those shows where I watched and was disappointed, I watched and was very inspired. It's great to see a family of believers like yourself who are taking and re-looking church. I hope that there can be more churches across our nation who will respond the same and make some great changes.
